About Me

My name is Nolan Crohn.

For the past seven years I have been working as an outdoor educator, rock climbing instructor and elementary school science and technology teacher.  I currently teach elementary school at a private school in Manhattan.  I graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies from Skidmore College in 2007 and I am currently a candidate for a Masters of Childhood Education at Hunter College.

Over the years I have kept dogs, fish, small mammals, lizards, amphibians, turtles, birds, crustaceans, and insects.  I have also interned at the Bronx Zoo, volunteered at a veterinary office, and worked in a pet store.

I specialize in custom habitat and aquarium designs that are attractive, enjoyable, educational, and fun.
